Oliver Twist is Charles Dickens’ second novel and was first published as a book in 1838. It’s the story of the orphan Oliver Twist, born in a workhouse and sold into apprenticeship with an undertaker. After escaping, Oliver travels to London, where he finally ends up in the clutches of the evil Fagin and his criminal league of young boys.
