How to manage personal energy for business success
Om bogen
Modern work often includes days filled with back-to-back meetings and constant change. We find ways to thrive during transition, come up with new ideas, manage our own and others’ stress levels, work with new people, and handle conflict—sometimes at a distance. We deal with organizational restructuring, transitions to agile working, and mergers and acquisitions while balancing whatever goes on in our private lives. My adapted jujitsu practices, such as the Power Barometer, have made it possible for people with demanding jobs to thrive, perform, and grow to reach the next level. Dealing with challenges and changes takes energy, so a key in these processes has been to manage energy, not just time and money.
This book is full of tangible examples from corporate work life. All case studies have of course been anonymized. All examples are real, but the participants’ names have been changed. Also, the stories have been approved by the people they are based on.
