At the window Franz Beckenbauer watches his older brother play football on the cinder pitch. He wants nothing more than to play in the older boys' team. He tries again and again – but time and again, he is sent away. One day, the older boys change their mind and let him join in. Then as a six-year-old, he gets to join the club SC München 1906, where he stays until he is thirteen. Originally, he wanted to move on to the white-blue TSV 1860 München, but a game against their team turns Franz's life around. Franz Beckenbauer finally ends up at Bayern Munich!
