Venne pubblicato nel 1781 quando Giovanni Meli era già noto tra i letterati di Palermo. Tratta principalmente di argomenti filosofici del tempo, contrastando la scienza e la religione. Il poema è la parodia delle varie teorie avanzate dall’uomo per secoli per capire come il mondo fu creato.
