As a shifter, he feels that through science humans and shifters could find ways to work together in the future. But, after overhearing a conversation outside his lab, he realizes the company he works for has a different idea for the future. One where shifters rule. He takes off to Otter Cove in rural Alaska where his twin brother has a cabin.
