If only we knew

If only we knew about His love for us,

Perhaps we would welcome His grace into our lives.

If only we knew about the reward for sin,

Perhaps we would quiver at the thought of it.

If only we knew about our rights as His sons,

Perhaps we would smack the enemy off his high horse.

If only we knew about His daily provisions,

Perhaps we wouldn’t worry so much.

If only we knew about Heaven,

Perhaps we would pay lesser attention to the Earth.

If only we knew.
