TV-researcher Ron Hering hield zich jarenlang alleen nog maar bezig met zijn glasverzameling en zijn oude elpee's. Door deze contacten raakt Ron steeds meer betrokken bij de moordzaak.<br>Uiteindelijk wordt hij zelf doelwit. Hij beseft dat hij degene is die de raadsels rond de moord moet oplossen en tegelijkertijd de spoken van zijn verleden moet verdrijven. Met zijn nieuwe vrienden, die ieder zo hun eigen problemen kennen, gaat hij op onderzoek uit.
