Philipp Lahm is from a family of football fans and has been playing since he learned to walk. When he is ten years old, a scout discovers him. But Philipp doesn't like the trial practice at the small club. He quickly decides that this is not the place for him. A year later, another scout asks him whether he'd like to play for a big club – FC Bayern Munich. All his football friends can’t believe it, but Philipp isn't sure. The scout was persistent. He promises to make Philipp a ball boy in the Munich Olympia Stadium. The atmosphere there sweeps Philipp off his feet. He runs along the side-lines with great excitement. Suddenly he knows where he wants to be: in this stadium, on that pitch and he wants to play a right back position. Now his future was clear to him.
