A fourteen-year-old girl is kidnapped. She's found dead a few days later, wearing a spotless wedding dress and make-up, her long blonde hair arranged around her shoulders. Investigators soon realize that she is yet another victim of a serial killer who is on the loose in San Diego; a killer who has police working overtime. Clues are hard to come by, even when the total number of dead girls reaches six - and each murder has the same M.O. A University professor teaching Early English Literature during the day; at night we see him pursuing a more deviant diversion - murder. Detective Alice Barnes becomes obsessed with the case, determined to see the day when she will face the Little Girl Bride killer herself - via the butt-end of a Glock revolver.
