The Day of Chocolate

Seven year old Monica wants to be, as she puts it, “old”. Around 25 or even 27. She would be wealthy and free of the witch who wants to take her away on Monday. Her friend David decides he’ll do everything in his power to make her dreams come true. With the aid of his cat Susie they embark on a quest to stop Monday from happening and to take Monica into the future. Will they succeed and who will they meet on their way?

2nd prize winner in the 1st Astrid Lindgren Literary Contest in Poland. “The Day of Chocolate” was also adapted into a movie by Jacek Piotr Bławut.
