When Summer Ali almost won reality TV show “Stars of America” as a kid, the whole country got to know her. But the version of her they met is the one that her manipulative stage parents created. Now finally eighteen, Summer is ready to introduce the world to the real her.

Running into writer’s block, unsure about her identity, and slipping off the charts, Summer is eager to take any opportunity her new manager offers—until she finds out that the opportunity revolves around a PR stunt with child-actor-turned-playboy Jules Moradi. While she’s never met him, she knows him from the tabloids.

At first, Jules keeps his distance, maintaining professional boundaries, but as time passes, his walls come down and Summer begins to see who he is beyond his reputation, and it’s someone more like her than she ever realized. As the lines between fake and real start to blur, Summer begins to question who she is and what she wants—and if her dreams are worth sacrificing her heart.
