Rain's Return

"You know who I am, Rain. You've always known!"

Rain looked into the Military Mother's eyes, and shook her head no, but she knew in her heart what the woman was saying was true.

Rain had come all the way back to Michaelanburg to free the men left behind and make sure that no more women were brainwashed into believing the women's lies that they were superior beings, but now, she was going to watch the man she loved die at the hands of the only Mother who should've actually cared about her.

Her own mother.

"Let him go," Rain said, "and I'll come with you."
