The Second Epistle of Paul to Timothy is one of three Pastoral Epistles attributed to Saint Paul in the New Testament. Following on from "1 Timothy", where Paul offers guidance to his follower, colleague, and delegate Timothy, the second epistle offers a picture of the state of the church, preparing Timothy for the day he inherits his roles.
