Perspektivet pendlar mellan avfolkade landsbygdslandskap och öppet hav, mellan vägskäl och branta stup. Björn Wickenberg är född 1968 i Växjö. Han är boende i Skåne och arbetar som gymnasielärare i Helsingborg. Debut på bokförlaget Trombone sommaren 2005 med diktsamlingen Woodstock, då under namnet Björn Carlsson. Woodstock är första delen av Den geografiska trilogin. Den andra boken i trilogin, Kyoto, släpptes april 2007. Den tredje boken, Landsortsdjupet, släpptes i april 2013. Hans senaste utgivna bok är dubbel-diktsamlingen Kan poeter bo i vanliga villakvarter/Världseländet genom solglasögonen 2020 (Trombone).
