Dante grows up in a slum in Brazil. His father buys him his first football. It is made of rubber. This is something special when you can hardly afford anything. The rubber ball bounces around crazily and is very hard to control – good practice for Dante's later career. When he is ten, he gets his first leather football from his mother for Christmas. He is incredibly proud of this ball. However, it doesn't take long until the ball is tattered and worn to threads from daily use. But does that stop Dante from playing? No, that’s not an option! He wants to achieve something great.
