Wuthering Heights

Emily Bronte's first and only novel was first published in 1847; It is set in Yorkshire and tells of the turbulent relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw that eventually destroys them and those around them. Even though it had limited success on publication it has become a classic of English Literature.
