At the age of twenty-two Hal Chesterton's world is turned on its head. He could never have guessed a blocked watercourse heralded such a disastrous change to his life. Gunfights, loose women and deception play havoc with his search for the culprit. Hot-headed and vengeful, he is not so easily deterred, but falling for a beautiful young woman clouds his judgment.
