Rummaging in the castle attic, Bibi, Tina, and Alexander find an old painting of three riders on horseback under a full moon. They really want to do this themselves, and even get permission from the Count and Mrs. Martin. But then Maharajah escapes, and they have to go and search for him in the dark forest!
