Kare antoi kyytiä itsesensuurille, suomettumiselle, kommunismille ja presidentti Kekkoselle. Hänet yritettin vaieta marginaaliin - aluksi turhaan. Kareen menestysteos Tähän on tultu (1967) ravisteli tasavaltaa, mutta kohta kurilinja alkoi purra. <br>Suomettumisen pesänselvitys jatkuu!
