Vi möter en person som lever under tiden för den franska revolutionen, och i vars liv revolutionen gör sig påmind utan att helt närvara. Vi möter också vardagsöden i vår egen nutid. Varje person kommer från sin egen tid och värld, men alla råkar de ut för samma öde. Alla hamnar i en situation de inte är förberedda på.<br><br>Stig Strömholm är en svensk författare och litteraturkritiker. Tidigare var han rektor för Uppsala universitet, professor och reservofficer.
