Ojanen käsikirjoitti Ylelle "Sirkuspelle Hermanni"-lastenohjelmaa 1978–1988, ja ensimmäisen Pelle Hermannista kertovan kirjan hän julkaisi vuonna 1982. Ojanen on käsikirjoittanut myös "Rölli"-televisiosarjaa.
