Tauno Yliruusi (1927–1994) oli suomalainen kirjailija, joka kirjoitti erityisesti salapoliisi- ja jännitysromaaneja. Lisäksi Yliruusi kirjoitti näytelmiä, joita on käännetty yli 15 kielelle. Yliruusi työskenteli muun muassa STT:n toimittajana sekä Suomen YK-liiton pääsihteerinä.
