Efter tre år i Uganda opstår der et militærkup, hvor tyrannen Idi Amin dukker op. Manden, som bliver kendt for at kaste sine fjender ned til krokodillerne i Nilen. Flyselskabet beslutter at opgive Entebbe som mellemlandingssted og skifter til Dar-es-Salaam. Parret rejser derfor til Tanzania, hvor nye oplevelser venter. Bogen slutter med noget mystisk.
