Boken har ambition att vara en spion/utrikespolitik/krigsthriller som sys ihop med människoöden och tafflig kärlek. Ingen del lyckas speciellt bra. Upprepningar står som spön i backen och karaktärernas personligheter är platta som ett papperark. Vill man läsa en kärleksroman finns bättre och söker man en spionroman finns absolut inget att hämta då inget av innhållet är speciellt tankekrävande eller någon form av komplexitet. Dett var de sämst spenderade timmarna jag tagit mig för på mycket, mycket länge.
