What a beautiful but gut wrenching book to help other people see the side to trauma that comes with sexual abuse. I related to some of the story and it brought me to tears. Hearing the understanding of all the emotions that come with that trauma. Thank you for writing a story that tells the raw emotional side that not many people know about. A heart-breaking and honest read. I think every social worker, teacher, doctor, counsellor should read this book asap. Only by understanding the depth of the problem can we begin to change the system and protect children better. Thank you Della for sharing your story.

It’s hard to rate a book of this content. I felt educated throughout this book and its direction and flow was very good. ‘Did I enjoy it?’ No. It was sickening and created a feeling of sadness. ‘Am I glad that I read it?’ Without a doubt. Thank you for sharing such a personal traumatic life experience.

I have found this book very interesting and very sad at the same time. What this young girl right up to being a grown woman has gone through in her life but how she got through it all. You realise just how much some children go threw in their childhood right up to being sn adult. Such a good thought provoking book and opens yours eyes to what some childrens lives are like, I definitely recommend this to anyone who does like these kind of stories. It's not about wanting to hear about the abuse some children go through but how strong they get in the end to put their abuser(s) in prison and then learn to deal with their past in how they feel how best it is for them.
