A pretty disappointing read after Manuscript Found In Accra and The Witch Of Portobello. It’s like this book is written by someone entirely different, and not in a good way…
Felt farcy ‘spiritual’ with a pseudo intellectual air about it, like a bad self help book. And so unnecessary dirty, like a young adult fanfiction but with a middle aged man going through midlife crisis in the centre of it with the nearly same hormonal behaviour as a teenager.
This felt like a stroke to one’s own ego, not a journey of spiritual growth in the moment of presence.
The narrator did a great job trying to keep this book going - I’ve held as long as I did out of respect for that.
Not a Coelho book I’d recommend…

Hmmm….lidt rodet for mig. Omvendt har vi alle rod i vores liv.
Du hører det selv. Det er sikkert bare mig, der bliver irriteret over en mandestemme, der forsøger at gøre den tøset. Hvilket jeg slet ikke kan se meningen med.
