Läsvärd! Uppläsaren gör ett bra jobb och historien är underhållande. Jag tycker personligen att karaktärerna är något tråkiga om man jämför med Brandon Sanderson men ändå helt okej. Rekommenderar.

Classic High Fantasy. Once you get past the very smooth coming-of-age intro, it's actually quite plot driven, with many unexpectable turns of events (and, without spoiling anything, I can assure you that this author takes the concept of character development very far indeed). Being from a different time (1982), it's refreshingly devoid of the bleak, nihilistic cynicism and graphic gore of more recent fantasy fiction. Keeps you turning pages without post-modernistically trying to make you hate humanity. 5/5, great for holidays.

A truly captivating story. Easy to recommend to any who's even moderately interested in epic fantasy stories. Though some might claim bits been lended from other known epic stories, but not any means the story itself! Only criticism I can think of, is that some drastic turns of the plot might be a bit naively accepted by the characters. But then again, I'm a cynic adult listening to this story, writen in my understanding in a way, that even early teenagers are able to enjoy this grand story! Also, extremely well read! Keeping the story very much alive.

Always on the top of every list of good Fantasy books. Engaging charactera, lots of twists and turns and an amazing story line with depth. A must, especially when so well read out.
