Men for at komme til Narnia skal de først gennem storbyen Tashbaan, hvor mange farer lurer og bagefter gennem ørkenen og over bjergene. I Tashbaan kommer det fra hinanden, og hver for sig får de oplysninger om et planlagt angreb på Narnia. Vil det lykkes dem at advare Kong Peter og hans søskende før det er for sent?
