The Book itself is good. I wanna focus more on the Audio in this book. I think this isn’t a good version. I kinda feels like an amateur had done this. It wasn’t often, but 4-5 times the editing forget to cut properly. And also the audio mix was …well realistic. Whispering was hard to hear at all and screaming feels like your ears was ripped apart. In my opinion it lacks a clear basic line, i was constantly change the volume. So i would recommend another version of this great book. (The narrator was good, it more a mix and editing problem)

Re-read for the first time in 50 years, having recently seen the stage play - remarkable work it’s day & given the worldwide lurch towards authoritarianism & Trump/Project 25, in some ways prescient. The narration grated to start with, some odd pronunciation which made me wonder whether it was AI generated, but the story soon took over..

Really wanted to listen to this classic, but the narrator is terrible and sounds like it's not a person but a computer program that puts words together. Like Google assist. Awful.

Första gången läst/hört. Mycket bra inlevelse och karaktärs beskrivning av uppläsaren, hur han ändrar dialekt och rösttonen. Ett måste den här boken. Det är som om författaren var synsk. Vi är idag 2023 på väg in i denna fasansfulla värld Winston lever i. FN, WHO, WEF med flera är inte dom organisationer som vill oss väl utan förslava oss. Vi är grodan i den ljumma vattnet som sakta blir varmare tills vi dör. 15 min samhällena, vaccin-pass, klimat och social poäng är sättet dom vill förslava oss. Eliten lever vidare. Flyger, festar och dödar våran barn.
