Olen usein harmitellut kun en tiedä mitä kasveja kannattaisi erityisesti suosia ruokavaliossa. Tämä kirja vastaa siihen. Latasin myös daily dosen app:n jota oli mielenkiintoista katsoa samalla kun kuunteli kirjaa niin oli helpompi hahmottaa kokonaisuus, josta puhutaan. Tietoa tulee niin paljon, että täytyy usein pysähtyä ja kuunnella uudelleen. Mukavaa myös, että kirja antaa tieteen puhua puolestaan ja antaa jokaisen päättää itse missä määrin haluaa opittuja asioita sisällyttää omaan ruokavalioonsa (toisin kuin useat tämän tapaiset opukset, jotka tuputtavat ideologiaa ja vain yhtä oikeaa tapaa elää, syödä tai ajatella).

Very informative, tries (and I think succeeds) to capture everything important on nutrition. I especially like the chapters on the most common diseases and the last part about the daily dozen, spices etc.

This book isn’t about another fad diet. It’s about how you can prolong your life by eating good foods. All is backed up by science and nicely explained by Dr. Greger himself. I’m obsessed!

Sain tästä paljon inspiraatiota siihen mitä pitäisi lisätä mahdollisimman terveelliseen ruokavalioon ja elämään. Pakko kuunnella seuraavaksi Gregerin How not to diet, sekä Aki Hintsan kirjat, kun on tällainen inspis päällä!
