There should be lists of triggers that this book contains. Because, if it was available in the description, I would NEVER read it. The amount of abuse that is happening is insane. Every single bad thing that can happen to a woman is present in this book (physical and psychological abuse, rape, abortion, unwanted pregnancy, suicidal attempt and much more; and everything is very graphic). I am done with the books that are marketed as uplifting, empowering and hopeful. This book is everything but not that. I don't see any strenght in putting women through the worst things that could happen to them and not giving them any support, sisterhood to hold on to, apart from their death ancestors. I am done with pregnancy and having children as the only strenght that women can endure. I am done with the misogyny and abuse as a center of something that is supposed to be empowering. Definately not recommend.

Absolutely fabulous listen! Just wanted to hear more about Alva, Violet and Kate! Thanks to BookBeat’s inspiration tab I stumbled across Weyward. So glad I did. I will be listening to more from this author and the narrators, excellent!

Could not stop listening! Have finished this feeling like I’m one of the Weywards myself! Just beautiful. Gives impetus to why we should turn off the phones and focus on what matters; the world around us.

Eine echte Überraschung. Hatte am Anfang nicht so viel Lust auf dieses Buch und war aber schnell gefangen im dem fesselnden Geschehen über die Zeiten hinweg. Tolle, tiefe Charaktere, sehr glaubwürdig.
