Pen Pal

I went into this story blind, I'd heard good things but never got around to it.. but now I'm annoyed I left it so long! This story is tragically beautiful, but so important to be told. The characters had me crying so much at the end, I'll never forget them.

I enjoyed this! Although I couldn't get over that the male narrator sounded a bit like Slyvester Stallone 🤣 but this was good! The big reveal at the end was emotional and the spice was steamy

This book was uneven. Halfway into it I considered to DNF it. The title made me wonder why the penpal didn’t get more time on the pages and it bugged me that I didn’t feel anything about their relationship except ”blah”. I think the book would benefit if that part had been explored in more depth. Aiden was hot but most of the spice wasn’t my cuppa. And once again the author lets the MMC suggest anal to a woman who’s never done it before and NOT PREPPING ENOUGH. Spit won’t do it. One finger for a little while won’t do it. I hope no one thinks this is the right way to go about if they ever care to try it. I’m glad I finished listening to the book but it was odd and not only in the best of ways.
