Description of book
Victoria Barnett has it all: a great career as a nurse practitioner, a handsome and loving husband, a beautiful home in the suburbs, and a plan to fill it with children. Life is perfector so it seems. Then shes in a terrible accident and everything falls apart. Now Victoria is unable to walk. She cant feed or dress herself. She cant even speak. She is confined to the top floor of her house with twenty-four-hour care. Sylvia Robinson is hired by Victorias husband to help care for her. But it turns out Victoria isnt as impaired as Sylvia was led to believe. Theres a story Victoria desperately wants to tell if only she could get the words out. Then Sylvia discovers Victorias diary hidden away in a drawer. And whats inside is shocking.

At this point I don’t think Freida McFadden can write a bad book. I loved this as much as the rest. She has such an amazing way of wrapping up all of the loose ends.

I absolutely loved the plot and all the twist. Especially in the epilogue. I didn't see it coming. I also liked the idea of learning about the past via Victoria's diary. That was pretty clever. The narrator does a perfect job, but there were moments when I absolutely hated the characters for being stupid. I mean their behaviour does make sense, especially psychologically, but they were ignoring all the red flags. They constantly made everything worse for themselves
