Troy Duran with an Irish accent? Um… yes please!! Say no more, I’m in! The plot was twisty, the spice was explosive, the banter between Sloane and Declan was on fire - what more could you want? Sloane is a masterpiece of an FMC. She’s clever, witty, smart humoured, and gets every man to turn into her personal butler and bat their eyelashes like a schoolboy. She’s charming and caring and I absolved her caring nature. Declan is broody, dirty mouthed, protective and possessive and I was HERE for his energy! Loving this series and can’t wait to dive into the next book.

The first book I had to give a chance as I was t impressed. As the story unfolded and the sell character stories have been revealed. I’m really enjoying the read. FMC is complex and a boss in her own right. Looking forward to listening to book 3 with the plot twist at the end of book 2!

Brilliant book but the male narration was awful. Excellent husky voice but when trying to do an Irish accent it went between Irish, Scottish and Indian sounding. Was quite off putting and such a shame as when the male narrator just speaks in a normal accent it’s swoon worthy.
