⚠️ FYI There’s A LOT of explicit TLC content! There is also quite a few scenes of violence and gore. Amazing books I totally loved that both books kept me hooked from page 1, with an amazing cast of multidimensional characters that evolve and grow along the way. The constant unease of not knowing whose narrative to trust accompanied by the tightly spun web of generations of this reclusive society of haters kept me yearning for any scrap of information dropped. Something I absolutely loved, and the sparse yet poignant breadcrumbs left throughout, fed the feel of always needing just a little bit more. Never getting it and keeping the reader in the dark along with the MCs is perfect. This author definitely kept her cards tight to her vest, so doesn’t expect any info-dumps. Both books are well balanced in that sense, and kept me on edge and intrigued, - or at times distracted (Hello, gratuitous sexy times), without the need to take notes or constantly back up due to missing stuff.
