While there were some strong moments, the book had its fair share of weaknesses. One of the biggest disappointments was Aaron. He seemed to lose all of his charisma the moment Juliette/Ella was gone—yet again. Instead of taking meaningful action, he spent most of the book being cold and hostile toward everyone. And we're supposed to believe that mere words from him nearly shattered the revolution and even made Haider cry? Haider—the son of a Commander, raised to be a future leader? That felt completely unconvincing. Another major issue was Nazeera, along with most of the side characters. Many of them were barely present, and Nazeera, in particular, was introduced with so much intrigue in the last 2 books only to spend 80% of the book in a coma. Then, when she finally woke up she went on to a solo mission during the finale? —without a single chapter from her perspective. It felt like a wasted opportunity. Lastly, the ending was underwhelming for a final book.

6 Teile hätten wohl nicht sein müssen. Die letzten beiden Bände ist einfach immer wieder das gleiche passiert. Habe es dannit doppelter Geschwindigkeit gehört, damit es endlich zu Ende ist, denn abbrechen ja nnten ich so kurz vorm Ende auch nicht mehr.

Tok lang tid å skjønne helt hva som foregikk, så starten av boka var seig, men det kom seg heldigvis etterhvert. En helt ok avslutning, men bøkene før var bedre, etter min mening.

Bra, men inte min genre. För mycket våldsamma scener i detalj och romantisering av mord, men annars bra språk, karaktärer och plot
