A beautifully written story encompassing childhood, coming of age, parenting, love and grief. Familes, chosen and not chosen. Romance and friendship. Some wonderful characters. The narration is excellent although some of the children's voices got on my nerves a little.

An unique story about female friendships, love, and motherhood including adoptive motherhood or how women mother children whether they've created them within or not. It's beautiful and captivating. It's funny and endearing. The strength of these characters is incredible yet so real while they navigate the full life cycle. Thank you, Joanna!

Loved this so much. You feel like you know these characters, they’re so real. Beautifully written and so emotional. Narration is perfection, even the child voice that narrators usually get so wrong, was perfect. Highly recommend!
