The Seven Kingdoms are divided by revolt and blood feud, and winter approaches like an angry beast. - Good on the whole, but Missandei is read very annoyingly and ”valar morgulis” read with an english pronounciation, rather than latin, just sounds wrong.

- Book is amazing but the narration is really hit and miss. I know there are a LOT of characters to voice, but half of the main characters have a weird Irish/pirate accent, and most of the supporting characters are just salivating to varying degrees.

- Great book. Very well written, keeps you hooked. Starting to get used to Roy’s narrating style too now.. I still don’t love that most of his characters sound like old men with a cold, especially when they’re >20 year olds haha! but like I said, by the third book you don’t pay as much attention to it anymore. Highly recommend
