Unfortunately I found the woman’s voice incredibly annoying to listen to - how the tone of her voice is always down and kind of angry:/ kind of ruined the experience for me:(

The relationship and character development in this one is absolutely top tier. When I tell you the journey these two went through. The strength they have for themselves, for those they care about and for each other is so beautiful to witness. This book touches on so many different themes in such healthy and mature ways. Plus I love the side characters she’s introduced. I’m so excited for their stories. Beautiful, beautiful story. I loved the he falls first trope—it was so clear from the beginning how much the MMC adored the FMC, even when she struggled to let her walls down. The book also handles anxiety representation beautifully, portraying the FMC’s struggles with care and realism. The romance is heartfelt, the tension keeps you hooked, and the emotional depth makes it hard to put down. If you love sports romance with strong character development and undeniable chemistry, this one is worth the read!
