Don't quite get the point of the book. It's not very scientific and the information about training included is not beyond what most people who train on a regular basis know already. This is not a blueprint... Rather a summary of some interesting and quite impressive achievements of an individual. The only thing I really took from this book is to train seasonal and focus on yearly training plans. Also I don't understand why he keeps talking bout expeditions and adventures when it is really just about sports related achievements. If you have never trained seriously you might get something out of this book. But it is fairly long and does not really contain a whole lot of information.
