Niiden lisäksi Kojo julkaisi boheemiromaaneja ja runoja, ja kuvataiteilijana hän kuului ekspressionistiseen Marraskuun ryhmään. Lisäksi Kojo työskenteli sanomalehtitoimittajana ja pilapiirtäjänä. Kojo sai valtion kirjallisuuspalkinnon kuudesti (1919 - 1957), Pro Finlandia -kunniamerkin (1948) ja Aleksis Kiven palkinnon (1949).
