Tyvärr blev jag så besviken på den här boken. Jag gillade verkligen The Folk of The Air-serien, men den här var så långsam och ointressant. Jag ville verkligen gilla den, men det gjorde jag inte. Och jag ser att vissa håller med mig fram till slutet, men jag visste redan hur det slutade eftersom jag fick en spoiler lol. Hoppas nästa är bättre!

Genren fantasy med romantiska i slag har exploderat på sistone och Holly Black är helt klart en av de bättre i genren. Jag har läst mycket i genren och flera bokserier av populära författare är egentligen omskrivningar av samma historia med stereotypa hjältinnor och sexiga hunkar. Holly Blacks böcker är inte en av dessa utan hon skriver med en nerv och svärta som gör att de är underhållande och stannar kvar hos mig efteråt.

I love who Oak has become in this book. It seems so fitting and the story totally drew me in. Wren is a great person and I'm rooting for her. Looking forward to the sequel

Damn this story is amazing. Plot twists all over the place. The voice so full of emotion that you want to scream along her anger and cry for her despair. Not the ending I've thought I would get, but so much more satisfying.
