I liked the book a lot and thought the speaker did a marvelous job, unfortunately, the latter holds true only until the moment that Holly appeared in the novel. For some reason, the speaker wanted to make her sound strange by randomly raising and lowering the pitch of his voice and adding weird pauses to the text - not only when she was speaking directly, but also when describing the plot from her perspective. This was exhausting and not helpful at all.

Har inte läst Stephen King på många år, älskade hans böcker när jag var i tonåren. Men jag hade visst förträngt hur mycket han ordbajsar. Tyckte det var väldigt mycket ord kontra innehållet av storyn. Tror boken had kunnat vara ganska mycket kortare. Ingen dålig bok, men jag fastnade inte riktigt i den. Lyssnade dock klart ändå.
