Excellent book, 2nd time I've reread it now. I actually prefer the early book narration compared to the later books where everyone sounds like a pirate.

What is there to say - it’s exactly what you think it’ll be like, just a little better! I‘d seen the tv show two times already (although it’s been some years) before listening to this audiobook and it was still just as captivating!

Efter att ha sett TV-serien före att jag läste böckerna så lämnar uppläsningen en hel del att önska vad gäller vilka röster som passar in och uttal på både platser och diverse karaktärers namn osv. Kan även känna att skådespelet är tämligen ojämnt. Vissa gånger överagerar uppläsaren och emellanåt underagerar han och i stora drag så saknar uppläsaren inlevelse. Hade jag haft tillgång till boken i fysiskt format så hade jag hellre läst den själv. I övrigt är boken väldigt bra men jag känner att det är lite väl tydligt att den är skriven av en man emellanåt.

Väldigt bra bok och historia, har läst boken för längre sen. Tog en stund att vänja sig vid uppläsarens stil med att han gjorde många olika röster till karaktärerna-inte helt i min smak. Om man har sett serien så uttalar han många namn lite annorlunda.
