3/5 ⭐️ It’s ok. Not wow, but not bad. Very goofy, what you would expect of Colleen Hoover. Would only read knowing it had no plot twist or rocky road, but I guess its expected when its a continuation of it ends with us.

Jes!!! Der perfekte zweite Teil zu "It Ends With Us". "It Starts With Us" heilt das gebrochene Herz, mit dem man am Ende von IEWU zurückgelassen wird und gibt einem trotz aller Problematiken einen Ausblick auf ein Happy End. Während IEWU KEIN Liebesroman ist, ist ISWU absolut einer. Während Lily damit umgehen muss mit ihrem abuser zu co-parenten (mich hat da die Familienbeziehung, zwischen Emmy, Ryle und Lily sehr interessiert, weil wie geht man damit um, wenn man nicht mehr eine romantische Beziehung zu seinem Abuser hat, aber immer noch eine Beziehung zu ihm hat? Und ich habe so großen Hass auf diesen Mann, ich kann's wirklich nicht in Worte fassen), arbeitet Atlas den abuse auf, den er in seiner Familie erfahren hat. Was ISWU macht, ist nicht die falsche Hoffnung zu geben, dass man mit dem richtigen Partner alles overcomed und der abuse dann plötzlich vorbei ist - es gibt nicht DAS Happy End - wie im richtigen Leben eben.

Parempi kuin edeltävä osa. Tykkäsin kahdesta lukijasta. Aika siirappinen hetkittäin, mutta ihana ja hyvin kirjoitettu. Romantikkona uppouduin tarinaan täysin, elin sen mukana ja liikutuinkin. Tästäkin ois kiva nähdä leffa jonain päivänä.

This book touched me in ways I didn’t think a book could it healed that broken person inside me that once thought I couldn’t see myself loving any man again after what my ex husband put me through but Lily made sense of my situation for my chapter by chapter showing me how to navigate through these feelings I’ve never addressed. I read it ends with us and couldn’t get enough I really wanted that happy ending for Lily even though I didn’t get mine. This book is full of hope and pain but most of all LOVE which is something I’ve been avoiding, thank you Coleen for addressing my feelings without me actually having to address them myself making sense of them and putting them into words.
