"Walden" is a transcendentalist work written by Henry David Thoreau. Published in 1854, the book details Thoreau's experiment in simple living at Walden Pond, where he reflects on nature, self-reliance, and the pursuit of a meaningful life. It explores the author's observations and musings during his time living in a small cabin in the woods.

The audio for this is clearly computer generated and frankly sounds terrible, I warmly recommend one of the many other available adaptations on this platform as they are much kinder on the ears and the book itself really is wonderful.
