Frankenstein
Description of book
Mary Shelley’s poignant exploration of the true depths of human ambition has had a profound effect on readers since its conception in 1816. When scientist Victor Frankenstein forms a creature from the body parts of corpses, thus shattering the perceived limits of scientific understanding, the consequences are devastating. As Frankenstein becomes disgusted with his experiment, he thwarts the creature’s desire for a companion, and what ensues is singularly chilling.

Absolutely a work of art. This book is composed of the well known creature Frankenstein where in reality, in this original and enchanting text, uncovers the complex relationship of Frankenstein and his creation, the creature. Definitely read this book, the language and story line is a devine union of detail and a story that transcends through time, many hundreds of years later.

Uppväxt med Peter Cushings Frankenstein serie och har alltid undrat över orginalet. En mycket bra och känslig bok.

Took me a while to get into it but was hooked from about 20%. Really enjoyed it. Can't believe it was written in 1818!!!
