Roland the Gunslinger söker the man inte black. Han går genom västern och möter olika personer på sin resa genom öknen och upp i bergen och ner i en gruva. Stora delar av resan har han följer med Jake. Pojken som dog i New York men nu hamnat i detta ökenland men ju längre tid som går desto mer glömmer han sitt tidigare liv. Lyssnar bara för alla säger att resterande böcker blir bättre och jag haft denna serie på listan så länge. Kan inte rekommendera bara baserat på denna första bok, men ska fortsätta och se vad som händer i nästa. Bra uppläst, trovärdig

Normally I am a huge Stephen King fan so I don’t feel well giving three stars. The story is just kind of slow, there is not a lot of context to this world and I just wasn’t catched.

Speaker is an old slurry country singer. Probably looks like a gramps reading a story which I don't want in an audio book. Why not choose one of the many great clear voice narrators?

The only thing this book does is cure insomnia. It’s like a bad dream that has a messy plot which doesn’t lead anywhere.
