This was such a tragic sad story ....with such bravery & heartache Courage & incredible relisilence It moved me so much! I've no idea how people even survived such degradation it's beyond my comprehension 😢🥺

Wow.. Dieses Buch hat mich echt bewegt. Es ist wirklich unfassbar gut, es wird nichts beschönigt oder romantisiert- genau so, wie Krieg auch dargestellt werden sollte! Das Buch war wirklich spannend bis zur letzten Seite und ich war mehrfach über die Wendungen schockiert. Ich werde noch sehr, sehr lange über diese Geschichte nachdenken. Auch die Sprecherin fand ich grandios!

I’m not sure I will every get over the story of Viane and Isobel. KH is a storyteller for the ages and this will surely go down in history as one of the great eye opening novels about the women of WWII Amazing.
