I adore all of VE Schwab’s books and this is no exception. Fast paced, with fantastic characters - I would literally die for August Flynn - and in a world where sins create actual monsters, this book is absolutely unputdownable. If anything happens to any of these characters (very much including Allegro the cat), I will literally never recover, and if the Malchai could remove their ridiculously creepy selves from Verity, I would be much happier. Cannot wait to read the second book!
